Got Blush?

Got Blush? The most important key  factor in creating that gorgeous bridal glow is.. BLUSH!
What happens if you skimp on the blush?  You get a washed out tired look in person and even more so in photographs!  Choices Choices... there are powder, creams, and even liquid blushes. If you tend to be dry..got with a cream blush , if your skin is oily a powder is your best bet!  If you have combo skin.. you can do either or I love to layer and use both to give texture to the cheek, cream first then finish it off wtih powder.
Bottom line is... Don't forget your blush!

Popular Makeup Styles

from J.Lo. to Beyonce... these are some popular makeup styles and I would dare to say Makeup Icons. I find alot of brides bring along photos of these women in paticular to show me makeup looks they love. I am a huge fan of their makeup styles as well and love some of the more dramatic looks they sport as well. One thing is for sure, to get these looks, even to look natural and flawless in photographs, keep in mind, its alot more makeup than you think, infact your everyday makeup wouldnt even come close! Like I always say.. Your the Belle of the ball only once ladies, flaunt it! if your spending the bick bucks on a fabulous photographer, it makes alot of sense to hire a fabulous makeup artist!

Having A Hard Time Deciding On A Bridal Makeup Look?

Having a hard time deciding on your bridal makeup? Your not alone! This is very common and can happen when it comes to hair styles as well and the combination of the two of of extreme importance.

A few tips to help you along the way, are expert advice ofcourse, and reviewing photos of yourself with your hair up or half up or down, wavy or straight.. what flatters you most?

face shape plays a huge part as well. Is there a paticular part of your face that you want to focus on? The most common is the 'eyes" and nothing beats a well defined eye with false lashes!

If you cannot decide between dramtic makeup/vintage/ sweet/classic or high fashion. Then its best to go with classic, as this is timeless and wont dissapoint you later on in life!  Just remember, to get a classic look in photos you will need more makeup than you would normally wear.. more pigment on the cheeks.. the lipshade should be a step or two up to show up.

All in all a makeup trial with a pro makeup artist and pro hair stylist is your best bet!  Dont risk it!
